MIT Volpe Redevelopment Project
Elkus Manfredi and Reed Hilderbrand turned to Interface to help MIT visualize a dynamic mixed-use center in Kendall Square. Key to our efforts were Interface's ability to conceptualize the retail base of the proposed buildings and bring the streetscape to life.
A major revisioning of the Volpe parcel, a former DOT facility north of Broadway in Cambridge. As part of an agreement with the GSA, MIT is working on a proposed redevelopment plan for the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, a Kendall Square site in close proximity to the MIT campus.
