Four-dimensional animation adds the dimension of time to pre-construction planning, illustrating how projects unfold through each phase of construction. IFMM uses this technique to demonstrate sequencing, logistics, and milestones and to reveal how critical path items will influence schedule.
For complex development projects, 4D animation helps stakeholders understand how a project will be built — not just how it will look. This is particularly valuable for large urban projects and infrastructure planning, where phasing impacts existing operations, interactions with neighbors, and nearby traffic patterns.
By integrating schedule data into 3D models, we create clear, dynamic timelines of construction progress. We deliver this content in either of two ways: as a series of 5–8 standalone illustrations highlighting key milestones, or as a timelapse animation allowing stakeholders to watch the seamless transformation of an existing site into the new planned development.
These tools support coordination, reduce uncertainty, and add detail — and excitement — to presentations geared toward investors, agencies, and the public.
