Reston Town Center Wayfinding

Interface Multimedia designed branded banners to help explain the hidden construction of the fountain at Reston Town Center.

The local community and adjacent retailers needed some reassurance about the renovation of the history public fountain at Reston Town Center. Interface was hired by Boston Properties to help alleviate their concern. Renderings of the renovated pavilion and fountain were created for the banners covering the ongoing construction. Interface took advantage of the previously constructed 3D model of the fountain and surrounding area to map the banner graphic design in order to illustrate the final signage design intent. This made the sign design process much easier to understand and also gave the installation team a quick reference for every graphic.
