Post pandemic ULI Washington Conference held at Capital One Hall.
IFMM attended the ULI conference at Capital One Center to discuss urban development and economic growth in the Tysons community. We got a backstage tour of the incredible facilities at the Capital One Hall and the Perch. The Capital One campus is a 25-acre mixed-use urban development located just steps away from the McLean Metro Station in Tysons, VA.
The Capital One campus improvements and development plans coincide with the Tysons Comprehensive Growth Plan, the 40-year plan that projects Tysons to grow from 100,000 to 200,000 employees and 17,000 to 100,000 residents.
Fairfax County Economic Development Authority President and CEO, Victor Hoskins, says that one way to gain and keep employees is to build spaces with amenities employees want and provide flexible remote work options. This is what Capital One has been working on over the past few years. According to Virginia Business, since the start of the pandemic, Capital One has worked to improve the campus for its employees by making better use out of the public spaces.
