Capitol Hill History
Interface helped to breathe life into a historic movement to capture the oral histories of Capitol Hill residents. Interface designed and developed a better way to capture the historic information and produced a web site for the public to participate and engage the content.
Working with the team of historians at the Ruth Ann Overbeck Capitol Hill History Project , Interface has re-engineered the storage and cataloging of all oral history digital files. The goals for this project included programming and developing a better digital archiving tool to make it easier for staff to manage the oral histories. Next, and equally important, design a better user experience to interact with the collection. Both the public and research scholars are able to navigate the collection quickly and effortlessly. We also developed a brand style and graphic treatment for the Ruth Ann Overbeck Capitol Hill History identity.
